This 1978 Ford Bronco 4x4 underwent a full cosmetic and mechanical restoration, which included engine upgrades such as Ford Racing valve covers, an oversized radiator, and an electronic ignition system, as well as a new black vinyl interior with air conditioning. Power is delivered by a 351ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission, and the finish is a Deep Red Metallic. This Bronco is now offered with a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The body was resprayed in Deep Red Metallic as part of a ground-up restoration. Features include a refinished silver removable top, chrome bumpers, chrome grille, stainless-steel accent trim. a color-matched windshield visor, and aluminum side steps. A receiver hitch is fitted as well.
Factory 15” steel wheels have been refinished in black and are wrapped in Falken tires. Handling is managed by power steering and power disc brakes.
The interior is trimmed in new black vinyl with matching carpet, a center console with dual cup holders, a Nostalgic Air air conditioning unit, and an aftermarket AM/FM/cassette head unit. Door panels, dash, and headliner are reported to be in good condition, and the windows have received 35% tint. A spare tire is mounted within the carpeted cargo compartment.
The gauge cluster consists of an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, voltage, and coolant temperature. The 5-digit mechanical odometer shows approximately 74k miles, which the seller reports is accurate.
The 351ci V8 is original to the vehicle and is fitted with Ford Racing valve covers, oversized radiator, upgraded ignition coil, new starter and battery, and a replacement fuel tank and lines. Power is transferred to the rear or all four wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission and 2-speed transfer case. Additionally, the Bronco is reported to have passed an Arizona emissions test.
A coil-sprung Dana 44 is up front and a Ford 9" rear end is suspended by leaf springs. The undercarriage is reported to be under coated. Additional photos showing the underside are available in the gallery.
