As part of the restoration process in 2021, the exterior of this vehicle was expertly finished in Dark Shadow Grey. The seller notes that the odometer currently reads 150 miles; however, the true mileage of this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
This vehicle is powered by a professionally rebuilt 289cid V8 engine, featuring a mild camshaft, paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The engine bay showcases notable features such as aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake, a Fi-Tech fuel injection system with a handheld controller, a black oval air cleaner, a Pertronix RTR distributor, long tube headers, and an efficient aluminum radiator. UNDERCARRIAGE
This Mustang comes from the factory with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. According to the seller, the suspension has been completely replaced, including the shocks, five-leaf rear springs, and a pair of one-inch lowering coil springs in the front. Additionally, a new electric fuel pump and an EFI fuel tank have been installed. Braking power is provided by power front discs and rear drum brakes. The vehicle features a Heartthrob dual exhaust system that exits at the rear. Furthermore, the seller mentions that an alignment was performed in the late Spring of 2023. I do have all the proper ownership / transfer paperwork. In NYS pre 1973 vehicles do not have separate titles. The car is currently registered with a transferable registration as issued by the NY DMV. The transferable registration is the title. I sign it as the seller and then the buyer fills in their information. What previous ownership documents I have, go with the car.
