OVERVIEW
This 1970 Oldsmobile 442 hardtop is styled after the W-30 model and recently received a $4,600 rebuild of its 455ci big-block V8, which channels power through a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes power steering, power front disc brakes, and a dual-gate shifter. Finished in Ebony Black with gold striping over a black vinyl interior, this second-generation 442 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The was repainted Ebony Black with gold striping under prior ownership. Features include quad headlights, a dual-scoop W-30 hood, chrome brightwork, red inner fenders, a W-30 rear spoiler, and a dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Magnum 500-style chrome 14-inch wheels are wrapped in F70-14 Firestone Wide Oval raised-white-letter bias-ply tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The refurbished interior is furnished with black vinyl bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching materials on the door panels, dash, headliner, and carpeting. Features include simulated wood trim, power steering, a dual-gate shifter, lap belts, a radio, and a trunk-mounted spare wheel.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and a fuel gauge. Auxiliary gauges are mounted under the dash. The selling dealer notes that the tachometer is inoperative. The five-digit odometer shows 91,024 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 455ci big-block V8 is fed by a four-barrel carburetor and bears the number 396021F. It was rebuilt at a reported cost of $4,600 by Jim Estes Garage in Oregon City, Oregon and comes equipped with aluminum heads and headers. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted three-speed automatic transmission and a built rear end showing a W27 stamp; the selling dealer has not confirmed whether or not the axle is a true W27 unit.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping is performed by power disc brakes up front and drums in the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS

@AdDog101 – The car is beautiful, but in my opinion (79 yrs old) car has been in an accident. L/F fender fit, hood fit, but otherwise shows well. The engine compartment just says. "Yeah baby, just step on the gas pedal & feel. your anus sink into the seat and pop that wallet out & say buy me". ...
Everyone has an option. We have been doing this for over 35 years. Yes In the video we really enjoy the cars and enjoy what we do . The way you take it is up to you . We are a family honest dealership.
