OVERVIEW

This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door received a restomod-themed overhaul in 2008 and is powered by a fuel-injected small-block 350cid V8 mated to a 200-R4 four-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power-assisted disc brakes, air conditioning, a stereo, and dual exhaust system. Finished in Tangerine Pearl over a tan leather interior, this Bel Air is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The Tangerine Pearl exterior underwent refinishing during restoration in 2008 and is said to show quality finishes and fitment throughout. Exterior features include chrome brightwork, dual mirrors, and gold anodized Bel Air logos.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Coys chrome five-spoke wheels are staggered in 18-inch wheels up front and 20-inch in the rear, wrapped in Sunny tires on both axles.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The interior is trimmed with tan leather bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear, matched to the door panels, custom center console, and carpeting. The dash is color-keyed to the exterior in Tangerine Pearl, and amenities include air conditioning, a custom steering wheel, rubber floor mats, a Lokar shift lever, power steering, a glove box-mounted AM/FM stereo, an analog clock, dome lighting, and a carpeted trunk with the Chevrolet logo.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Digital instrumentation includes a speedometer and auxiliary data for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 7,500 miles, although the selling dealer states that true mileage on the chassis is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The small-block 350cid V8 was reportedly sourced from a 1970s-era vehicle and is upgraded with a Holley Sniper EFI fuel-injection system along with a mild cam. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 200-R4 four-speed automatic transmission and a rebuilt 3.73-geared rear end.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping power comes from four-wheel power-assisted Wilwood disc brakes with cross-drilled and slotted rotors. Chassis underpinnings include a Hotchkiss sway bar and a dual exhaust system.
