OVERVIEW
This 1969 Ford Mustang convertible receives torque from a 302cid V8 mated to a C4 three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a newer cloth top, 15-inch polished aluminum wheels, an aluminum radiator, and a radio. Finished in light blue metallic over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with a convertible boot and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The light blue metallic body received a respray under prior ownership and presents well according to the selling dealer. Exterior features include fog lamps, a driver mirror, chrome brightwork, and split glass rear window in the newer black cloth retractable top.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
American Racing Torque Thrust 15-inch aluminum wheels are wrapped in 235/60 Grand Am Radial GT raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is trimmed with black vinyl bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching materials for the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include a radio, floor mats, and lap belts.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 3,118 miles, although the selling dealer states that true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 302cid V8 is upgraded with an aluminum radiator and a chrome-finished Edelbrock air cleaner. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted C4 three-speed automatic transmission. A vehicle safety inspection has been carried out by the dealer.
