OVERVIEW
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro coupe is powered by a Merlin 548cid V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include Baer power four-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, Borla 8-stack fuel injection, Intro wheels, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, RS hideaway headlights, and a roll cage. Finished in orange over a gray and black fabric interior, this Camaro comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The orange exterior features chrome bumpers, an RS grille with hideaway headlights, a black front spoiler, a fender-mounted antenna, a hood cut-out for the velocity stacks, dual mirrors, rocker moldings, a color-keyed rear spoiler, a shaved fuel filler, and RS tail lights and reverse lights.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of five-spoke Into aluminum wheels is wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R radial tires in the front and Hoosier drag slicks in the rear.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The Corbeau front bucket seats are upholstered in gray and black cloth; the back seat has been eliminated. Features include a roll cage, G-Force Racing Gear safety harnesses, a tilt steering column, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a four-spoke aluminum steering wheel with a black grip, a floor-mounted B&M automatic transmission shifter, and black carpeting.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 160-mph speedometer, a 10,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and water temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 1,900 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate. The true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a Merlin 548cid V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include a smooth body-color firewall and inner fenders, billet aluminum hinges, aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a Billet Specialties Tru Trac serpentine belt engine accessory drive system, tubular exhaust headers, and a Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The selling dealer notes the engine runs on 109- or 101-octane fuel; they will have their engine builder change the necessary parts so the car will accept 91-octane gas if the winning bidder requests the conversion.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Camaro is equipped with an independent front suspension, a four-link rear suspension, adjustable coilovers, and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by Baer power four-wheel discs. The exhaust outlets exit ahead of the rear tires.
