OVERVIEW
This two-owner 1969 Chevrolet Camaro sport coupe was restored in 1992 and is powered by a numbers-matching 307cid small-block V8 mated to a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, Rally wheels, and front disc brakes. Finished in Hugger Orange over a two-tone black vinyl and houndstooth interior, this first-generation Camaro is now offered by the selling dealer with a Protect-O-Plate, documentation, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The Hugger Orange hardtop-style exterior received a full repaint during restoration in 1992. Additional body work included removal of a prior vinyl top along with the installation of replacement fenders, the passenger side rear quarter panel, and trunk pan. Features include chrome brightwork, an eggcrate grille, an antenna, a driver side mirror, rocker moldings, rear quarter panel accents, and a trunk-mounted spoiler.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Silver-finished Rally wheels with polished trim rings are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The deluxe two-tone interior is fitted with black vinyl and houndstooth bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching door panels, padded dash, and carpeting. Features include air conditioning, woodgrain trim, rubber floor mats, lap belts, a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette, and a trunk-mounted spare tire.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 10,757 miles, although the selling dealer states that true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The reportedly numbers-matching 307cid small-block V8 has been rebuilt and is said to be well-maintained. Service in 2022 included replacement of the battery, a carburetor service, fuel filter replacement, radiator replacement, and fluid exchanges. Torque is transferred to the rear wheels via a column-shifted TH350 three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Steering and braking systems are power-assisted, and the front disc braking system reportedly received new pads, hoses, and calipers in 2022.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The sale includes a Protect-O-Plate and restoration documentation.
