OVERVIEW
This 1949 Studebaker 2R pickup was featured in the June 2012 issue of Custom Classic Trucks magazine and is powered by an LS1 5.7-liter V8 backed by a 4L60 four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Features include suicide doors, shaved door handles, LED Cadillac taillights, a power tonneau cover, a tilt steering column, power steering, power windows, air conditioning, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/DVD entertainment system with navigation. Finished in Sunset Yellow over a two-tone light tan and beige leather and suede interior, this Studebaker comes with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in custom Sunset Yellow and has four layers of clear coat. Features include a color-matched custom front bumper, tunneled HID headlights, shaved door handles, suicide doors, custom mirrors with turn signal indicators, a cab-mounted license plate, a custom bed with molded fenders, a power body-color hard tonneau cover, a custom fuel door, and LED Cadillac taillights.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 17-inch front and 18-inch rear Center Line Galaxy wheels are wrapped in 215/50ZR17 Riken Raptor front and 235/50ZR18 Kumho Ecsta rear radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
A bench seat with a fold-down armrest is upholstered in light tan and beige leather and suede. Features include power windows, power steering, a tilt steering column, air conditioning, a custom-made steering wheel, and a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/DVD entertainment center with navigation.

UNDERCARRIAGE
This Studebaker is equipped with a custom frame with cross bracing, an independent front suspension with tubular control arms, and a solid Ford rear axle with 3.80:1 gears, 31-spline axles, and Positraction. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel Wilwood discs with four-piston calipers. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear through four outlets.
