OVERVIEW
This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a non-original 327cid V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include a 1965 Corvette big-block hood, an AM/FM radio, manual steering, and four-wheel disc brakes. Finished in Riverside Red and equipped with a color-matched removable hardtop over a black vinyl interior, this Corvette comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior has been finished in Riverside Red with a white accent stripe. Features include working hide-away headlights, chrome bumpers, a big-block hood, a driver-side mirror, a color-keyed removable hardtop, and a rear-mounted antenna. The selling dealer notes the car is not equipped with a soft top and that there are a few small blemishes in the paint.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch American Racing five-spoke polished aluminum wheels is wrapped in 205/60R15 front and 225/60R15 rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include manual steering, manual windows, a center console-mounted manual transmission shifter, an AM/FM radio, a three-spoke steering wheel with a black grip, and black trim.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
An inoperative 160-mph speedometer, a nonfunctional 7,000-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, engine temperature, oil pressure, and battery are located ahead of the driver. An aftermarket oil pressure gauge is mounted under the dashboard. The odometer reads 123 miles, but it is not currently working so the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a non-original 327cid V8 and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, a chrome air cleaner, and cast iron exhaust manifolds. A safety inspection was recently completed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Corvette was factory-equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel discs. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
