OVERVIEW

This 2012 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 backed by a six-speed manual transmission. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 and backed by a six-speed manual transmission. The selling dealer states that a larger supercharger and a larger intercooler have been installed. An oil change and an air conditioning service were recently completed.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Shelby was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. The SVT Performance Package adds a limited-slip differential with 3.73:1 gears. Braking is provided by power 14-inch Brembo front discs and regular rear discs. The exhaust exits at the rear through dual outlets.
