OVERVIEW

This 1982 Chevrolet Corvette reportedly received $3,000 in suspension work in 2021. INTERIOR – GAUGES

An 85-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. With 1,200 miles added during the seller's three-year ownership, the odometer reads 74,200 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate. The last reported mileage of 74,112 was logged on the CARFAX report in July 2023. A potential odometer rollover was noted in June 1993 but did not include an odometer reading.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by an L83 350cid V8 equipped with Cross-Fire Injection and backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. When new, the engine produced 200 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was completed in 2021.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Corvette was factory-equipped with a four-wheel independent suspension and a rear drive axle. According to the seller, the shocks and ball joints were replaced in 2021 at a cost of $3,000. Braking is provided by power four-wheel discs. The exhaust exits through dual pipes at the rear.

The CARFAX report starts in May 1982 and shows ownership in Iowa, Texas, Illinois, and California. An accident that caused minor damage to the front end was reported in July 2017.
