This 1966 Chevy II Nova spent time in California prior to its purchase by the seller approximately one year ago. The custom restoration included modifications such as a refinish in bright yellow and installation of a ZZZ GM 350 V8 and a 200-4R 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Additional features include a rebuilt rear differential, MSD electronic ignition, an Edelbrock AVS carburetor with an electric choke, and more. This Nova is offered with spare parts, factory manuals, a car cover, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
A California car from new, the body retains all the original sheet metal and has been refinished in bright yellow. All factory trim and badges were retained and in good condition, and the glass has been tinted all around. All rubber seals and window felts were replaced, in addition to the front and rear windshield gaskets.
A new set of five-spoke alloy wheels with polished chromed edges wear a set of Cooper CS5 Ultra tires, while braking is handled by power brakes with front discs and rear drums. Suspension work includes upper and lower ball joints and controls arm bushings, inner and outer tie rod ends, strut rod bushings, and a front anti-sway bar. The rear leaf springs have been re-arced, and a leaf has been added.
The interior features Mercedes bucket seats covered in tan MB-Tex vinyl with a matching upholstered rear bench seat, with new coordinating carpeting and door panels. Other additions to the interior include a replacement headliner and trim panels, re-covered sun visors, dash, armrests, and package tray.
A new black billet steering wheel fronts instrumentation, including a horizontal sweep speedometer and aftermarket 8k rmp tachometer. The trunk is outfitted with a bumper jack and the original spare tire and wheel.
Power is provided by a GM Performance ZZ350 V8 crate engine rated at 400hp, featuring a hot cam kit and ported and polished heads. A new stage 2 professionally built 200-4R 4-speed overdrive automatic transmission is fitted as well as ceramic coated headers, a heavy-duty radiator with Derale electric fan, and a chrome 100 amp alternator with billet aluminum pulleys and brackets.
Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the gallery.

I really like the Mercedes sourced seats up front! First time I’ve seen this set up, and it works well. Good luck with the auction!
@360burnout – Beautiful '66 Nova. I like the color and tire/wheel combination. How do you like the 200 R-4 overdrive on the freeway? ...
Thank you! I love the overdrive transmission. I installed 3.55 gears recently and it turns about 2500 rpm on the freeway at 70. Really helps out with the fuel mileage but still has great low end.

Why Yellow? Black, grey or silver and I would bid. But not yellow...
