1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO

OVERVIEW

This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS tribute is powered by a rebuilt 350cid V8 backed by a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, a tilt steering column, a digital RetroSound AM/FM stereo, bucket seats, a center console, a sport steering wheel, a rear spoiler, and SS emblems. Finished in blue with white stripes over a reupholstered black and white vinyl and houndstooth cloth interior, this Camaro comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The exterior was refinished in blue with white stripes under previous ownership. Features include chrome bumpers, an SS hood, a black grille with standard headlights and an SS emblem, wheel well and rocker moldings, dual mirrors, and a rear spoiler.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of new 18-inch Ridler wheels is wrapped in 235/40R18 front and 275/40R18 rear tires with 2021 date codes.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bucket seats and the rear seat were reupholstered in black vinyl and black and white houndstooth cloth seating areas. Features include a digital RetroSound AM/FM stereo, manual windows, power steering, a tilt steering column, a sport steering wheel with a black grip, a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter, simulated woodgrain accents, and black trim.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer, 7,000-rpm tachometer, and fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. Gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are mounted at the front of the center console. The odometer reads 70,284 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a rebuilt 350cid V8 and backed by a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include aluminum heads, chrome Moroso valve covers, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, a chrome air cleaner, and an MSD electronic ignition. A safety inspection was recently completed.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Camaro is equipped with an independent front suspension and a newly installed Currie nine-inch Ford rear end. Power braking is provided by four-wheel drilled and slotted discs. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
