1968 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 4-Speed

This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox. Finished in Safari Yellow over black vinyl, the car is equipped with a factory luggage rack, simulated wood steering wheel, and AM/FM radio with cassette deck.  This C3 is located in Phoenix and is offered by the selling dealer on a clean Arizona title.

The vehicle is finished in Safari Yellow (984) with a black folding soft top. Signature C3 Corvette pop-up headlamps are equipped on the front, and side vents are featured on the fenders.  The chrome and other bright work finishes are in good condition, including the chrome luggage rack. A split bumper is equipped on the rear with quad taillamps and Corvette center badging.

Factory 15” Rallye wheels with chrome trim rings and hubcaps are mounted to raised-white-letter Goodyear Eagle GT tires on all four corners.  The car has independent suspension, both front, and rear, along with manual brakes.

The interior is fitted with black carpeting and black vinyl bucket seats, with matching black embroidered floor mats, and a center console. An aftermarket AM/FM cassette head unit is equipped in place of the original factory stereo.  The door panels are finished in black vinyl and house the handles for the manual-crank windows.  A center console houses the factory chrome shifter along with controls for the heater.

Instrumentation is framed by a simulated wood 3-spoke steering wheel and includes a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, along with accompanying gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage.  The 5-digit odometer reads 22k miles.

Power is provided by a 327ci V8 equipped with factory style chrome air cleaner and valve covers. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission.
