OVERVIEW
This restored 1968 Ford Mustang coupe is powered by an ATK High Performance Engines 351cid Windsor V8 backed by a TREMEC T-5 five-speed manual transmission. Features include air conditioning, manual front disc brakes, air conditioning, power steering, a fiberglass hood and trunk lid, and a digital AM/FM/CD stereo. Finished in Bright Yellow with black stripes over a TMI black leather and microfiber interior, this Mustang comes with parts receipts and a clear title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration completed in 2021, the body was refinished in Bright Yellow with black stripes. Features include a front spoiler, fog lamps, a fiberglass hood with a scoop and hood pins, a fender-mounted antenna, a driver-side mirror, black side accent stripes, a fiberglass trunk lid with a spoiler, and quarter panel end caps.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 17-inch later-model Ford Mustang aluminum wheels is wrapped in Nitto radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The TMI front bucket and rear bench seats are upholstered in black leather and microfiber. Features include power steering, manual windows, a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter, air conditioning, a digital AM/FM/CD stereo, a three-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim, black vinyl door panels and dashboard pad, and yellow trim.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
An inoperative 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level and other systems are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 100 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by an ATK High Performance Engines 351cid Windsor V8 and backed by a TREMEC T-5 five-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include finned aluminum black valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, aluminum heads, a four-barrel carburetor, a black air cleaner, a black tubular strut tower bar, an aluminum radiator, and a body-color engine bay.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Mustang was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual front discs and rear drums with stainless steel brake lines. A stainless steel dual exhaust system with Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers exits at the rear.
