RESERVE REMOVED: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe

OVERVIEW

This restored 1967 Chevrolet Camaro coupe was purchased by the previous owner at Maple Motors in Tennessee. It is powered by a replacement 350cid V8 backed by Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, factory bucket seats and center console, a sport steering wheel, a Kenwood AM/FM/cassette stereo, a cowl-induction hood, and American Racing wheels. Finished in Royal Plum with silver stripes and equipped with a silver vinyl top over a black vinyl interior, this Camaro comes from the selling dealer with documentation and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration approximately 10 years ago, the body was refinished in the original color of Royal Plum (code M) with silver accent stripes. Features include chrome bumpers, a standard grille, SS emblems, a cowl-induction hood, a fender-mounted antenna, dual mirrors, a silver vinyl top, a rear spoiler, and a tail light panel-mounted electric cut-off switch.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels is wrapped in 205/75R15 Starfire Solarus AS front and 245/60R15 Futura GLS Super Sport rear radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

This Camaro was factory-equipped with standard front bucket seats without headrests and a rear seat upholstered in black vinyl (code 760-Z). Features include manual windows, power steering, a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a sport steering wheel with a wood rim, a Kenwood AM/FM/cassette stereo, and black trim. The selling dealer states that an aftermarket shifter was replaced with a factory-style shifter in June 2023.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. An AutoMeter 10,000-rpm tachometer is mounted on top of the dashboard. A set of three gauges for the water temperature, voltage, and oil pressure is located under the radio. The odometer reads 33,573 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a replacement 350cid V8 and backed by Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome Edelbrock valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, a chrome air cleaner housing, and tube exhaust headers. The battery has been relocated to the trunk.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Camaro is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle with traction bars. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums; the selling dealer states that new brakes were installed in June 2023. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
