Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1977 Ford F-150 is powered by a 360cid FE V8 backed by an automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include custom body pinstriping, a sliding rear window, new 31-inch Mud Claw tires, power steering and brakes, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. Finished in black over a reupholstered tan vinyl and gray cloth interior, this F-150 comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The exterior has been wet-sanded and clear-coated to preserve the reportedly original factory-applied black finish and red and orange pinstriping. Features include a chrome front bumper, a bright aluminum grille, a cowl-mounted antenna, dual mirrors, dual locking fuel doors, a factory standard fuel door, wheel opening moldings, a long bed with a new spray-in bedliner, tread plate bed rail protectors, and a silver rear step bumper. The selling dealer states that a small amount of dents and dings are present.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of new 15-inch slotted polished aluminum wheels with manual locking front hubs is wrapped in new 31” x 10.50” Mud Claw Comp MTX radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The bench seat has been reupholstered in tan vinyl with gray cloth inserts. Features include black door panels with manual windows, power steering, a column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a floor-mounted transfer case shifter, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, inoperative factory air conditioning, new carpeting, a new headliner, and a new black dashboard pad.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

An 85-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, alternator, and temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 88,190 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 360cid FE V8 and backed by an automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The factory air conditioning components are present, but the compressor has been removed.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This F-150 was factory-equipped with a solid front axle, a solid rear drive axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. The exhaust exits on the passenger side through dual outlets.

@Pbaatrsl – Why are there 2 fuel doors where it appears the factory were on fire driver side and now one on passenger side?? Have tank’s been replaced? How many tanks?? I’m sure doors were just a nice way to adjust for the lift or a little rust? Thank you. ...
