OVERVIEW
This 1997 Chevrolet K1500 W/T is powered by a 4.3-liter V6 backed by a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include a drop-in bedliner, custom bed rails, power steering, power front disc brakes, dual airbags, air conditioning, and an AM/FM/Cassette stereo. Finished in white over a new tan vinyl interior, this K1500 comes with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body is wearing the original factory-applied white paint. Features include a chrome front bumper, a gray metallic W/T grill, bodyside moldings, bright wheel opening moldings, a fender-mounted antenna, dual folding mirrors, black side accent stripes, a short fleetside pickup bed, chrome bed rails, a new black drop-in bedliner with a tailgate protector, and a black rear step bumper with a hitch receiver. The seller states some minor dings are present on the body and can be seen in the photos in the carousel to the right. A walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch late-model six-lug Chevrolet truck aluminum wheels is wrapped in newer Cooper Discover A/T3 radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bench seat has been reupholstered in tan vinyl. Features include manual windows and locks, power steering, dual airbags, an AM/FM/cassette stereo with an equalizer, air conditioning, floor-mounted manual transmission and transfer case shifters, and a new headliner.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 100-mph speedometer, a 6,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 129,800 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate. The last reported mileage of 78,000 was logged on the CARFAX report in July 2005.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a Vortec 4.3-liter V6 and backed by a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Newly installed parts include the air conditioning compressor and battery. The seller states that the fluids were recently changed. The third video below shows the truck being driven.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This K1500 was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension, a solid rear drive axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A factory single exhaust system exits at the rear. A video showing the underbody is available below.
