OVERVIEW
This 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe draws power from a numbers-matching rebuilt 350cid small-block V8 that has been bored .030 over and is coupled with a rebuilt four-speed manual transmission. It comes with removable roof panels and features Rally wheels, power steering, a refurbished cabin, and a dual exhaust system. Finished in red over a black vinyl interior, this C3 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior was repainted red in 2011 and is equipped with body-color removable roof panels. Additional features include pop-up headlamps, bright rocker moldings, flush door handles, a driver-side mirror, split rear bumpers, an antenna, and a dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 15-inch Rally wheels with polished trim rings and center caps are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-seat cockpit was refurbished within the last 10 years with new black vinyl seat covers and new carpeting, matched to the door panels, dash, center console, lap belts, and floor mats. Amenities include a wood-rimmed steering wheel, map pockets, a radio, and a power steering system with newer components. An air conditioning system is installed but nonfunctional per the selling dealer.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 77,490 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The numbers-matching 350cid V8 was rebuilt in 2011, bored .030 over, balanced, and blueprinted. It has accrued less than 10,000 miles since the overhaul. A new alternator has been installed. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a rebuilt four-speed manual transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The chassis benefits from rebuilt control arms along with newer bushings, newer inner/outer tie rods, and a recent alignment.
