OVERVIEW
This 1937 Packard 138CD is powered by an Oldsmobile Rocket 350cid V8 backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a limousine divider window, a Vintage Air climate control system, folding front-facing jump seats, an AM/FM/CD stereo, fog lights, dual spare tires with covers, and power steering. Finished in two-tone gray over a dark red leather and wine red velvet interior, this Packard comes with a set of Coker whitewall tires and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body is finished in gray and the fenders are finished in medium gray. Features include chrome bumpers, fog lights, a Goddess of Speed radiator cap, dual side-mounted spare tires with fender color-matched covers and rearview mirrors, an additional driver-side rearview mirror, etched side and rear windows, and rear coach doors.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
The set of maroon spoked wheels is wrapped in BFGoodrich whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bench seat is upholstered in dark red leather. The front-facing folding jump seats in the middle row and the rear seat are upholstered in wine red velvet. Features include dark red front door panels with manual windows, power steering, a floor-mounted automatic transmission shifter, an AM/FM/CD stereo, a gray dashboard with woodgrain accents, a manual limousine divider window, wine red velvet rear door panels with manual windows and wine red velvet trim, and a rear-mounted Vintage Air climate control panel.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 100-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, amps, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. A clock is mounted on the right side of the dashboard. The odometer reads 11,150 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The original 282cid I8 has been replaced by an Oldsmobile Rocket 350cid V8, which is backed by a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Packard was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel manual drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
