OVERVIEW
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe has power front disc brakes, power steering, an Edelbrock intake, a Kenwood audio system, subframe connectors, and front and rear sway bars. It is powered by a 350cid small-block V8 mated to a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. Finished in light blue with white striping over a blue vinyl interior, this first-generation Camaro is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The light blue exterior is accented with white striping and features dual mirrors, chrome trim, wheel arch moldings, a trunk-mounted spoiler, and a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel 15-inch Rally wheels with chrome center caps and polished trim rings are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cockpit is fitted with blue vinyl bucket seats up front, a bench in the rear, and matching materials for the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Features include power steering, a center console, a Grant steering wheel, a Hurst shift lever, and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD/Aux radio with kick-panel and rear package tray speakers.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A Dakota Digital instrument set has replaced the original gauges. The true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 350cid small-block V8 bears casting number 3970010 and has been upgraded with an Edelbrock intake, a Holley four-barrel 600cfm carburetor, an MSD ignition system, an HEI distributor, an aluminum radiator, and chrome valve covers. Power is channeled to the back wheels via a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear end.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping is performed by power-assisted disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. The chassis has been upgraded with front and rear sway bars as well as subframe connectors.
