468-POWERED 1966 OLDSMOBILE CUTLASS 5-SPEED

OVERVIEW

This 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass is powered by a Joe Mondello-built 468cid V8 backed by a TREMEC five-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, and a Kraco AM/FM/cassette radio. Finished in red and white over a black vinyl interior, this Cutlass comes from the selling dealer with an engine receipt and a clear title.

The exterior is finished in white over red. Features include chrome bumpers, 442 emblems, a fender-mounted antenna, dual mirrors, bodyside trim, and trunk trim.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights for various vehicle systems are located ahead of the driver. A Sunpro 8,000-rpm tachometer and Sunpro gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are located in a custom center console. The odometer reads 54,422 miles, but the actual mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The Joe Mondello-built 455cid V8 has been enlarged into a 468cid engine, which is backed by a TREMEC five-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include aluminum Mondello valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock aluminum heads, a Cadillac batwing air cleaner, and a Holley 780-cfm carburetor.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Cutlass was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by upgraded power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
