OVERVIEW
This custom 1957 Chevrolet 210 Townsman station wagon has been upgraded with quad bucket seats, chrome 15-inch wheels, shaved rear door handles, power steering, and power front disc brakes. It is powered by a 5.7-liter V8 mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Finished in two-tone dark purple and white over a gray vinyl and checkered cloth interior, this Townsman is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-tone dark purple and white exterior features LED headlights, chrome brightwork, shaved rear door handles, Nomad-style side trim, and a dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Chrome five-spoke 15-inch wheels with knock-off caps are wrapped in 215/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The interior is fitted with four custom gray vinyl bucket seats with checkered cloth inserts. Features include tinted windows, swiveling front seats, dual center consoles, bowtie-branded rubber floor mats, power steering, an adjustable steering wheel, lap belts, a B&M shifter, cruise control, a clock, a heater, a ceiling-mounted DVD player for the rear passengers, and a carpeted cargo area with custom embossing.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation from Classic Instruments includes a 160-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 14,950 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 5.7-liter V8 is cooled via an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and breathes through a chrome air cleaner. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Braking is power-assisted with discs up front and drums in the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
A $395 dealer fee will be added to the purchase price. The selling dealer has provided a walk-around video with the vehicle idling.
