OVERVIEW
This restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a built 396cid V8 backed by a rebuilt Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Features include a front spoiler, a cowl-induction hood, a rear spoiler, SS emblems, power steering, power front disc brakes, a tilt steering column, and a sport steering wheel. Finished in metallic green with black striping over a black vinyl interior, this Camaro comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This Camaro was originally finished in Daytona Yellow (code 76). During the recent restoration, the body was refinished in metallic green. Features include a black front spoiler, chrome bumpers, a black standard grille, SS emblems, a cowl-induction hood, black D90 side accent stripes, dual mirrors, rocker and wheel well trim, and a rear spoiler.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch Chevrolet Rally wheels is wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
Originally covered in Ivory vinyl (code 727), the front bucket seats, rear seat, trim, and door panels have been reupholstered in black vinyl. Features include manual windows, a tilt steering column, a sport steering wheel with a black grip, a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter, and a Delco AM radio.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and a fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. A set of three gauges for the oil pressure, voltage, and water temperature are located under the dashboard. The odometer reads 6,159 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a built 396cid V8 and backed by a rebuilt Muncie four-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an Edelbrock Performer 2-O aluminum intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, a chrome air cleaner housing, and cast iron exhaust manifolds. A safety inspection was recently completed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Camaro was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. The selling dealer states that all wiring and bushings have been replaced and the suspension has been rebuilt. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
