Power is provided by a 5.8-liter V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, a chrome air cleaner, and an HEI ignition.

This Ford was factory-equipped with a twin I-beam independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power four-wheel drums.
