1954 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup

OVERVIEW

This restored 1954 Chevrolet 3100 pickup has been with the owner for nine years. It is powered by a 235cid inline six-cylinder backed by a three-speed manual transmission. Since 2020, it has received new bumpers, a new grille, a new RetroSound AM/FM radio, new seat upholstery, a new radiator, new brakes, and more. Finished in red over a brown vinyl and tan cloth interior, this garage-kept Chevrolet truck comes with a clear title in the seller's name.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

During the restoration in 2020, the body was refinished in red. Features include chrome bumpers and grille, a cab-mounted fuel filler, and a step-side bed with an oak floor and stainless bolts and strips. The seller states that a new chrome grille, door handles, locks, mirrors, and bumpers were installed in 2020. Additional parts added in 2020 include the oak bed floor, vent windows, windshield and rubber, taillights, and door weatherstripping.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 15-inch tan Chevrolet Rally wheels with center caps and trim rings is wrapped in blackwall radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The bench seat has been reupholstered in brown vinyl with tan cloth seating areas. Features include black door panels with manual windows, an aftermarket turn signal assembly, a RetroSound AM/FM radio, a black vinyl floor mat, and red painted trim. Parts installed in 2020 include the sound deadening, RetroSound radio, seat upholstery, headliner, door panels, floor mat, heater, and seat belts.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 90-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 54,862 miles, which the seller reports to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 235cid Inline six-cylinder and backed by a three-speed manual transmission. New parts installed in 2023 include the fuel pump, throttle cable and pedal, carburetor, points, plugs, condenser, coil, and cap.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Chevrolet was factory-equipped with a solid front axle and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear. The seller states highway gears were installed in the rear axle in 2018.
