OVERVIEW
This one-off NASCAR Cup Car was assembled for show purposes in 2021 by Roush Fenway Keselowski (RFK) Racing and features a Roush experimental chassis from 2013 along with Goodyear race tires, a Sparco seat, a rollcage, plexiglass windows, and a quick-release steering wheel. It is powered by a C3 Roush Racing 358cid V8 mated to a G-Force Toploader four-speed manual transmission. Finished in race livery with dual blue hues and accenting sponsor graphics, this dedicated show car is now offered by the selling dealer on a bill of sale only, as it is not legal for street use.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This specialty-built show car was modeled with NASCAR “Generation 6” regulations using sixth-generation Ford Mustang design language with forward roof and center roof support bars. The exterior of the body features livery for Fifth Third Bank along with supporting sponsorship decals for Sunoco, Fastenal, K&N, and other entities, and features include a chin spoiler, plexiglass windows, wind strakes, side-exit exhausts, and a rear spoiler. There are some areas of the trunk lid with the finish bubbling.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Black-finished steel 15-inch Aero wheels are wrapped in tires Goodyear Eagle slick tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The weight-reduced interior is fitted with a Sparco black cloth and aluminum driver seat and a racing harness. Features include a full rollcage, a rear-mounted fuel cell, a fire suppression system, a battery disconnect switch, and a suede-wrapped quick-release steering wheel. There is some staining on the driver side footwell.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Digital instrumentation is set within a carbon fiber instrument panel and provides readouts for speed, RPM, fuel level, voltage, and other vehicle vitals. True mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The naturally-aspirated C3 Roush Racing 358cid V8 features an MSD ignition system and has reportedly never been raced. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted G-Force Toploader four-speed manual transmission and a Ford nine-inch rear end.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Handling is provided by Penske shock absorbers, and stopping comes from four-wheel disc brakes.
