OVERVIEW
This 1985 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 has covered 37,678 miles since new and is powered by a fuel-injected 5.0-liter V8 backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, a tilt steering column, power windows, a power hatch release, air conditioning, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and T-tops. Finished in white over a red vinyl interior, this Camaro comes from the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body is wearing the original factory-applied White (code 11) paint. Features include color-keyed bumpers, a Z28 appearance package, dual mirrors with a manual driver-side remote, tinted removable roof panels, heated rear glass, and a rear spoiler.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels is wrapped in 225/50R15 Cooper CS5 Ultra radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bucket seats, rear seat, and trim are upholstered in red vinyl. Features include power windows, power steering, a tilt steering column, air conditioning, a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
An 85-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 37,678 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate. The last reported figure of 37,634 miles was logged on the CARFAX report in July 2023.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 5.0-liter V8 equipped with Tuned-Port Fuel Injection and backed by a four-speed automatic transmission. The selling dealer states that the air conditioning was checked for proper cooling and the windshield washer pump, hood struts, fuel pump, shift shaft seal, oil pan gasket, and oil were replaced in August 2023. In addition, a speedometer cable adapter was installed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Camaro was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. The exhaust exits at the rear through dual tips. The selling dealer states that the rear shocks, rear brake wheel cylinders, and idler arm were installed and a front-end alignment was performed in August of this year.
