OVERVIEW
This recently restored 1965 Ford Mustang coupe is powered by a 289cid V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, TMI Sport-R bucket seats, air conditioning, a digital AM/FM stereo, and a center console. Finished in metallic gray with black stripes and equipped with a black vinyl top over a black vinyl and microfiber "Pony" interior, this Mustang comes with a clear title in the seller's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the restoration, the exterior was refinished in metallic gray with black stripes. Features include chrome bumpers, black G.T. 350 rocker stripes, Cobra emblems, a hood scoop, a fender-mounted antenna, dual rearview mirrors, a black vinyl top, a Cobra fuel filler, and dual Mustang GT-style rear valance-exit exhaust outlets.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black 17-inch U.S. Mags wheels with polished lips is wrapped in 225/45ZR17 front and 245/45ZR17 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Sport radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The TMI Sport-R front bucket seats and the matching rear seat are upholstered in black "Pony" vinyl and black suede-like microfiber. Features include black vinyl door panels with manual windows, power steering, a three-spoke aluminum Shelby-style steering wheel with a wood rim, a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter, an AM/FM digital stereo with kick panel-mounted speakers, air conditioning, a gray Carroll Shelby signature decal, and a Cobra logo on the glove box door.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 2,025 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by the reportedly original 289cid V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include finned aluminum Cobra valve covers and air cleaner housing, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and four-barrel carburetor, tube exhaust headers, an aluminum radiator, and a chrome shock tower support brace.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Mustang was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by four-wheel power disc brakes.
