OVERVIEW

This 2003 Jaguar S-Type executive sedan has been driven 49,217 miles since new and receives power from a 4.2-liter V8 mated to a ZF six-speed automatic transmission. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 4.2-liter V8 was rated at 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque when new. Service in June 2023 included an inspection and fluid checks by the selling dealer. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a ZF six-speed automatic transmission with a J-gate shifter.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Handling is assisted by Dynamic Stability Control. Stopping power comes from four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
