2022 FACTORY FIVE RACING GTM

OVERVIEW

This 525-horsepower 2022 Factory Five Racing GTM is a kit-based supercar that has been driven 800 miles since completion and leverages Forgestar wheels, Chevrolet Corvette-derived mechanical components, and a spaceframe chassis. Power comes from a mid-mounted Chevrolet Performance LS376/525 6.2-liter V8 crate engine mated to an RBT five-speed manual transaxle. The car was assembled by the seller as part of a multi-year project that began in 2021 and comes with creature comforts such as power windows, a Bluetooth stereo, and air conditioning. Finished in Toxic Sunburst over a black microfiber and vinyl interior, this custom GTM is now offered with build documentation and a clear title in the seller’s name.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The Factory Five Racing GTM kit uses a composite body placed over a spaceframe that is joined by a matrix of aluminum subframe panels. The Toxic Sunburst exterior was applied within the last four years as part of the build under the seller’s ownership and is accented with black hood vents, roof, and door handles. Features include auxiliary lighting, electric door poppers, carbon fiber mirror caps, and a dual exhaust system.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

The 18-inch front and 19-inch rear bronze Forgestar wheels are wrapped in 275/40ZR18 and 305/25ZR19 Nitto NT555 G2 tires, respectively.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cockpit is fitted with dual black microfiber and vinyl bucket seats, matched to the door panels, center console, and carpeting. The passenger compartment is protected via a six-point roll cage with roof-contoured bars. Features include power windows, a collapsible steering column, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, a Bluetooth radio, and diamond-plate aluminum floor panels.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation is displayed within a carbon fiber bezel and includes a 200-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the oil pressure, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer currently reads 800 miles, which reflects the mileage accrued since the completion of the build.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The mid-mounted Chevrolet Performance LS376/525 6.2-liter V8 crate engine was rated at 525 horsepower. Output is directed to the rear wheels via a console-shifted RBT five-speed manual transaxle. Performance upgrades include a Kennedy Engineered Products bell housing, a McLeod Racing clutch, an oversized radiator, cooling fans, and an Optima battery.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The chassis uses a four-corner coilover suspension. Stopping power comes from Chevrolet Corvette-sourced disc brakes.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Build documentation will come with the vehicle. The car is titled in Texas as a 2022 “ASVE” (Assembled Vehicle) with an odometer reading of 60,000 miles. The title notes reflect this as Not Actual Mileage.
