This three-owner 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza convertible was sold new at Hessell Chevrolet in El Segundo, California in September and has reportedly had three owners since then. It receives power from a Turbo-Air 164cid flat-six mated to a Powerglide two-speed automatic transaxle. Finished in Crocus Yellow and equipped with a black retractable top over a black vinyl interior, this second-generation Corvair is now offered by the selling dealer with a convertible boot, documentation, service records, an owner’s manual, a window sticker, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The Crocus Yellow (code Y) exterior was repainted under prior ownership and shows some rock chips. Features include chrome bumpers, quad headlights, dual mirrors, and a dual exhaust system.

American Racing polished aluminum five-spoke wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The rear-mounted, air-cooled Turbo-Air 164cid flat-six transfers power to the rear wheels via a dash-shifted Powerglide two-speed automatic transaxle. The dealer has performed a safety inspection.

Braking is performed by front discs and rear drums.
