1974 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER FJ40

OVERVIEW

This 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 received a restoration performed by Off Road Phoenix of Miami, Florida. It is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include front fog lights, an off-road jack, a rear-mounted jerry can, 31-inch Agate tires, and power steering. Finished in blue and equipped with a beige canvas removable convertible top over a tan vinyl interior, this Land Cruiser comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

This reportedly rust-free Land Cruiser was refinished in blue during the restoration and is equipped with a beige canvas removable top. Features include silver bumpers and grille, front fog lights, a folding windshield, dual rearview mirrors, an off-road jack, and a rear-mounted spare tire and jerry can. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 15-inch gray steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps is wrapped in 31-inch Agate AG-MT703 radial tires. The rear-mounted black 15-inch spare wheel is wrapped in a 235/75 Lauffen radial tire.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The front bucket seats and the rear seats are upholstered in tan vinyl. Features include manual windows, power steering, floor-mounted manual transmission and transfer case shifters, and a heater.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 160-km/h speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 13 kilometers, but the true kilometrage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 4.2-liter I6 and backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. 

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Toyota was factory-equipped with a solid front axle, a solid rear axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A single exhaust outlet exits at the rear.
