OVERVIEW
This 1984 GMC 1500 Wideside pickup is powered by a 383cid V8 backed by a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a billet grille, a cowl-induction hood, power steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, power windows, air conditioning, a digital AM/FM stereo, and 20-inch Ridler wheels. Finished in silver over a black cloth and vinyl interior, this GMC 1500 comes from the selling dealer with a CARFAX report and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This reportedly rust-free GMC has been refinished in silver. Features include chrome bumpers, a billet grille, a cowl-induction hood, tinted glass, dual rearview mirrors, a short Wideside pickup box, and a black spray-in bedliner. A walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of gray 20-inch five-spoke Ridler wheels with polished lips is wrapped in Landsail radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cab is equipped with a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl with black cloth seating areas, black door panels, and matching trim. Features include power windows and steering, a tilt steering column-mounted automatic shifter, air conditioning, and a digital AM/FM stereo.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 140-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level and other vehicle systems are located ahead of the driver. The digital odometer reads 1,636 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. The last reported mileage of 42,122 was logged on the CARFAX report in June 2012. In March 1999, a mileage discrepancy was reported as a potential odometer rollover at 11,446 miles.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 383cid V8 and backed by a 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include a lime green engine block, aluminum heads, aluminum valve covers, an aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold, a black Edelbrock air cleaner housing, and tube exhaust headers.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This GMC was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power four-wheel discs.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The CARFAX report starts in August 1991 and shows ownership in Florida. In August 1991, an accident with another vehicle caused damage to the rear. In March 1996, another accident damaged the front of the vehicle.
It appears this truck has exhaust dumps...are they functional and if so how? Manual or electric? Where is the switch or lever?

Even the aftermarket GT steering wheel has the horn connected to it and works correctly. Due to Murphey's law, would hate to make a guarantee that no issues arise on a long trip and then something pop up. However it is a nice running and driving pickup, please use the link below of the truck running, driving, and revving.
