2007 Jaguar XK Convertible

OVERVIEW

This 2007 Jaguar XK convertible has been driven only 65,000 miles since new and has been exclusively Arizona-owned by only two people. It receives power from an AJ 4.2 liter V8 connected to a six-speed automatic transmission. Maintenance performed within the last 5,000 miles includes the installation of new filters and a new battery as well as an alignment. Features include bi-xenon headlamps, total-body paint protection film, 18-inch Jaguar chrome wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, and navigation. EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The Radiance Red Metallic exterior is completely covered with a clear paint protection film. Features include fog lamps, bi-xenon headlights, vented front fenders, a heated glass rear window, a decklid spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller states that the driver-side front fender has been repaired and repainted, the driver-side mirror has been repaired, and the glass rear window needs to be reattached to the convertible top for safe top operation.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

The upgraded Jaguar 18-inch seven-spoke chrome wheels are wrapped in low-profile tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is appointed with heated and power-adjustable leather bucket seats up front, dual seats in the rear, and color-coordinated trim for the door panels, dash, center console, carpeting, and floor mats. Features include power windows, power door locks, power steering, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, natural woodgrain trim, and a carpeted dash mat.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation consists of a 180-mph speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and a digital center display. The digital odometer reads 65,000 miles, which lines up with the most recent figure of 63,945 miles recorded on the CARFAX report in April 2023.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The AJ 4.2-liter V8 was rated at 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque when new. A new battery has been installed per the seller. In addition, the CARFAX chronicles some of the historical maintenance having been performed at British Automotive Repair in Scottsdale from 2011 through 2021, with service including the replacement of the oil pan drain plug, cabin air filter, and engine air filter. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted six-speed automatic transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Handling is assisted via adaptive damping and a Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS). The seller states that alignments have been performed regularly; the last one was completed in 2023.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report begins in 2006 and shows Arizona ownership since new. There are two damage reports mentioned; the first accident was in 2012 and involved a rear-end collision and the second took place in 2019 and caused minor scratch damage to only the rear bumper. An Arizona emissions inspection was completed in 2020. A binder of all service and maintenance records will accompany the car.
