OVERVIEW
This 1972 Mercedes-Benz 350SL is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include new Landgolden tires, power windows, a Becker AM/FM radio, a recently cleaned fuel tank and injectors, new spark plugs and wires, and power disc brakes. Finished in Silver Grey and equipped with a replacement black cloth convertible top over a red vinyl interior, this Mercedes comes with a body-color removable hardtop and a clear title in the name of the seller's LLC.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
This reportedly rust-free Mercedes is finished in the original color of Silver Grey (code 180G) and is equipped with a replacement manual black cloth convertible top. Features include chrome bumpers, front fog lights, and black side impact moldings. The seller states that the exterior has been touched up, wet-sanded, and polished.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of silver 14-inch Bundt wheels is wrapped in new 205/70/14 Landgolden radial tires installed in September 2023.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with red vinyl bucket seats, red door panels, red trim, and red carpeting. Features include power windows, a Becker Europa II AM/FM radio, and a center console-mounted automatic transmission shifter. According to the seller, a replacement dashboard cap was installed and the air conditioning system was converted to R134a refrigerant in 2023.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 67,138 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 4.5-liter V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Service in August 2023 covered cleaning the fuel tank and injectors, the replacement of the spark plugs and wires, an oil change, and a full fluids change.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Braing is performed by power discs. The exhaust system exits at the rear through dual tips.
