1970 Chevrolet C10 4-Speed

This 1970 Chevrolet C10 short bed was the recipient of a full professional restoration, finished in Sunburst Orange Metallic, and has a Magnaflow exhaust system, Hurst shift lever, and Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission.  Power is provided by a 350ci V8 rated at 350 horsepower, and other equipment includes power disc brakes, custom wheels, and auxiliary gauges.  Located in Menifee, California, this C10 is now offered on a clean California title in the seller’s name. 

The body is finished in Sunburst Orange Metallic and was professionally repainted as part of a complete nut & bolt restoration in 2016.  Built from the factory as a single cab, short-bed configuration it features chrome bumpers front and rear, along with chrome trim for the emblems, side view mirror, and window surrounds.  The tailgate Chevrolet branding has been painted in accenting white.  The bed floor has been finished with a protective coating, while the inner bedsides and wheel tubs are finished to match the body.  A custom stainless 2.5” exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers and polished tips was installed.

Aftermarket polished 20” Showtime wheels are mounted to a staggered tire setup with 255/35 up front and 275/35 in the rear.  Braking consists of power disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. The suspension has been modified to lower the ride height with a sway bar added in the front.

The interior is fitted with tan carpeting protected by rubber floor mats in each footwell, and the seating is upholstered in custom bowtie cloth & vinyl for the bench seat.  The dash is painted to match the exterior with a tan dash pad, and the door panels are upholstered in bowtie fabric to match the seats.  The audio system has been upgraded with a vintage-look modern head unit and additional speakers, the kick panels.

Instrumentation is framed by a 3-spoke steering wheel and includes a 100-mph speedometer along with an accompanying gauge for fuel level.  There are 3 additional aftermarket gauges mounted below the dash.  The 5-digit odometer reads 63k miles, and true mileage is unknown.  The vehicle has been driven 2k miles since restoration. 

The 350ci V8 is rated at 350 horsepower equipped with an aluminum intake manifold, four-barrel carburetor, and chrome valve covers.  Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission with a floor-mounted Hurst shifter and a 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears.
