OVERVIEW
This 1964 Buick Riviera was produced in Flint, Michigan in the second week of May 1964. It comes equipped with its reportedly numbers-matching Wildcat 465 425cid V8 and Super Turbine 400 three-speed automatic transmission. Other features include chrome bumpers, dual exhaust outlets, woodgrain trim, power windows, power steering, bucket seats, a center console, factory air conditioning, and power brakes. Finished in Granada Red over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Riviera comes with the Protect-O-Plate, Production Order form, owner's booklets, additional documentation, and a clear mileage-exempt title.
EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The reportedly rust-free Granada Red (code V) body is equipped with chrome bumpers, bright trim, a manual driver-side mirror remote (code 4F), and dual exhaust outlets.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
The 15-inch Buick mag wheels are wrapped in 215/75R15 front and 225/75R15 rear redline tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with black vinyl (code 628) front bucket seats, a pair of matching rear seats, and black door panels and carpeting. Features include woodgrain trim, power windows (code 1X), power steering, bucket seats, a center console, and factory air conditioning (code 2K). Code 1S on the data tag translates to an automatic trunk release; code 5W indicates this Riviera came from the factory with retractable seat belts. The upholstered trunk houses the original spare tire and its matching cover.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
Vehicle information is displayed on a 140-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amps. The analog odometer shows 46,348 miles, which the seller believes to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Under the hood is a carbureted Wildcat 465 425cid V8 that sends power to the rear wheels through a Super Turbine 400 three-speed automatic transmission, both of which are numbers-matching, according to the seller. When new, the engine produced 340 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in May 2023.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping is performed by power drum brakes.

Rear differential was always done as regular maintenance and done a little over a year ago. The cigarette lighter does work.
