OVERVIEW
This award-winning custom 1932 Ford Model 18 three-window coupe build was completed in 2006. It is powered by a Fast Burn 385cid V8 crate engine backed by a TCI Automotive four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a steel Brookville Roadster body, power windows, a Flaming River tilt steering column, a Custom Autosound hidden stereo system with a 10-disc CD changer, a Dakota Digital cruise control system, power bucket seats, a Brookville Roadster frame, and Wilwood disc brakes. Finished in dark green metallic over a cream leather interior, this Ford comes with trophies, a receipt for a new speedometer, an uninstalled new bumper, a spare tire, and a clear title in the owner's name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
During the build in 2006, the rust-free steel Brookville Roadster replica body was finished in a Cadillac shade of dark green metallic. Features include chrome bumpers, a dropped headlight bar, chrome headlight housings with integrated turn signals, cowl lamps, dual windshield wipers, a driver-side rearview mirror, a filled roof, and chrome door hinges. The seller states that the car was involved in a rear-end collision that damaged the spare tire mount in 2022. During repairs, the car was converted to eliminate the spare tire and received a new rear bumper.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of chrome Wheel Vintique wheels is wrapped in Diamond Back whitewall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin was reportedly redone by Dennis Gamble and comes furnished with power bucket seats upholstered in cream leather surrounded by cream door panels and body-color trim. The trunk area is upholstered in matching materials. Features include power windows, manual steering, a Flaming River tilt steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, a Custom Autosound hidden audio system with a 10-disc CD changer, a Dakota Digital cruise control system, and an aluminum banjo steering wheel with a wood rim.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The set of AutoMeter gauges located ahead of the driver includes a new 120-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for the fuel level, oil pressure, engine temperature, and voltage. With 1,500 miles added to the vehicle during the seller's three-year ownership, the odometer reads 25 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown. The seller states that the previous speedometer's odometer read 4,000 miles.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a Fast Burn 385cid V8 crate engine and backed by a TCI Automotive four-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include a TCI Automotive torque converter, an Edelbrock carburetor, Sanderson headers, and a Walker radiator.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The Brookville Roadster chassis includes a chrome solid front axle mounted with chrome hair pins and a solid nine-inch Ford rear drive axle with a limited-slip differential mounted with a four-bar setup and coil-over shocks. Braking is provided by Wilwood discs. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The seller will include trophies, a receipt for the speedometer replacement, an uninstalled new bumper, and a spare tire as part of the sale.
