OVERVIEW
This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a four-barrel 350cid small-block V8 mated to a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes Rally wheels, power steering, factory air conditioning, and power disc brakes. Finished in red and equipped with a tan retractable top over a tan vinyl interior, this C3 Corvette is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The red exterior is complemented by a tan retractable top with a vinyl rear window. Features include pop-up headlights, vented front fenders, dual chrome mirror caps, flush door handles, an antenna, and a dual exhaust system.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Steel Rally wheels with polished trim rings and center caps are wrapped in blackwall tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The two-passenger interior is fitted with tan vinyl bucket seats, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Features include power windows, power steering, a tilt steering column, woodgrain trim, air conditioning, a radio, and map pockets.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 49,280 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 350cid small-block V8 bears casting number 3970010 as reported by the dealer. It breathes through an Edelbrock chrome-finished air cleaner and uses a Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted TH400 three-speed automatic transmission.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The suspension is fully independent. Stopping comes from power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
