OVERVIEW
This 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS coupe is powered by the reportedly original 409cid V8, which is backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering, bucket seats, a center console, a Delco AM radio, an Audiovox FM converter, and a factory tachometer. Finished in Ermine White over a black vinyl interior, this Impala SS comes from the selling dealer with an original warranty book, removed and uninstalled parts, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body was refinished in the original color of Ermine White in the early 1980s. Features include chrome bumpers with bumper guards, dual rearview mirrors, rocker panel trim, a fuel door anti-scratch guard, Impala SS emblems, and a rear antenna. The selling dealer states that there are a couple of superficial bubbles on the decklid and the edge of one of the fenders.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch silver Chevrolet Rally wheels with chrome center caps and trim rings are wrapped in 235/60R15 Mastercraft Avenger G/T radial tires that were installed in 2022.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with a pair of black vinyl bucket seats and a matching rear seat, surrounded by black vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, a center console-mounted manual transmission shifter, a Delco AM radio, an Audiovox FM converter, and SS emblems.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge are located ahead of the driver. A factory 6,000-rpm tachometer is mounted above the steering column. The odometer reads 70,336 miles, which the selling dealer reports as accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by the reportedly original 400-horsepower 409cid V8 and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers and a chrome air cleaner housing. The selling dealer states that service was performed last year by a GM-certified technician.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Impala was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
