OVERVIEW
This 1955 Ford F-100 is powered by a 302cid V8 backed by a C6 three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power front disc brakes, power steering, a Ford Crown Victoria independent front suspension, a tilt steering column, a wood bed floor, a custom tailgate, and a custom rear bumper. Finished in Midnight Plum over a black vinyl interior, this F-100 comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body has been finished in Midnight Plum. Features include a body-color front bumper, a chrome grille, a front-hinged hood, dual rearview mirrors, a stepside pickup box with reversed fenders and a wood bed floor, a custom tailgate, and a custom body-color rear bumper with custom tail lights.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of black American Racing Torq Thrust wheels is wrapped in mixed radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bench seat is upholstered in black vinyl. Features include black vinyl door panels with manual windows, power steering, a tilt steering column-mounted automatic transmission shifter, and orange trim.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 140-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 2,664 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 302cid V8 and backed by a C6 three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, tubular exhaust headers, an aluminum air intake manifold, a body-color air cleaner housing, and an HEI ignition.
UNDERCARRIAGE
The chassis of this F-100 has been modified to accept a late-model Ford Crown Victoria independent front suspension assembly with power rack-and-pinion steering. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits ahead of the rear tires.
