This 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe is an older restoration powered by a Challenger 289cid V8 mated to a Toploader four-speed manual transmission. The interior has black vinyl fold-forward bucket seats, a rear bench, and matching materials for the door panels, dash, center console, and carpeting. Features include lap belts, a dash-mounted clock, a radio, woodgrain accents, a heater, and a vinyl trunk mat.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a sweeping 120-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 2,282 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The Challenger 289cid V8 is painted blue and directs power to the rear wheels via a Toploader four-speed manual transmission. A safety inspection was performed by the dealer.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The manual drum braking system uses a dual-circuit master cylinder.
