OVERVIEW

This 1953 Buick Skylark convertible is powered by a 322cid V8 backed by a Dynaflow two-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Mandarin Red and equipped with a tan convertible top over a red and white leather interior, this Skylark comes from the selling dealer with body manuals, vehicle documentation, an engraved original steering wheel center cap, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The body was refinished in Mandarin Red (code 78) 20 years ago. Features include chrome bumpers and grille, chrome side trim, and a tan power convertible top. The selling dealer states that the back window seam on the top is separating. A walk-around video can be seen below.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, battery, and oil pressure are located ahead of the driver. A clock is mounted on the right side of the dashboard. The odometer reads 617 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

@Robfairchild – How is the sheet metal? Is it all steel? Any bindi anywhere? Any dents? When was it last painted? Is it an original color? The engine is original? How easy is it to start? Why are you selling? ...

The sheet metal is pretty straight, the passenger fender has a two dents that look like they could be removed with paintless dent repair. It is all steel, and it all sounds like metal so very little filler. It seems like this car has been someone's baby since day one. It had a repaint 20ish years ago in the original color, the engine and transmission are original, the original carb was replaced with the same model and the original is included. It starts without hesitation and runs like a dream. We did put a new battery in and replaced the hydraulic hoses coming from the pump that operates the power top, power windows and power seat.
