Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1975 Triumph TR6 roadster is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. It is equipped with chrome brightwork, a luggage rack, a custom exhaust system, and woodgrain trim. Finished in red and equipped with a black retractable top over a black vinyl interior, this TR6 is now offered by the selling dealer with a convertible boot, a fire extinguisher, a tire iron, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The red exterior features chrome bumpers with black overriders, an antenna, rocker moldings, dual mirrors, a luggage rack, TR6 decals, and a custom quad-outlet exhaust system.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

Black steel 15-inch wheels with polished trim rings are wrapped in 205/70 Doral SDL 70A tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The two-seat cockpit is furnished with black vinyl buckets, matched to the door panels, dash, carpeting, and floor mats. Features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, woodgrain dash trim, a heater, and a Craig AM/FM/cassette radio with door-mounted Jensen speakers.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 1,209 miles, but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 2.5-liter inline-six is fed via dual carburetors. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This TR6 came from the factory with front disc and rear drum brakes.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

A black vinyl convertible boot, a fire extinguisher, and a tire iron will come with the car. The dealer has provided a video showing the exterior, interior, engine bay, and a driving demonstration.

@Lestoy – Can you provide some history of this car? Like, is the paint original, has the engine and transmission been rebuilt, has the clutch been replaced, does all the gauges work, has been into any accidents? Thanks ...

Hello, thank you for your interest! This vehicle is being sold on consignment out of our Scottsdale Arizona location. Without documented proof, we unfortunately cannot make any claims to the service history and/or repairs that have or have not been made thought its life. The car does run and drive as expected from a 1975 classic, please check out the video! Any vehicle prior to 1981 does not have a history report available to verify any prior accidents but from the condition it doesn't appear to have been. it also has a clean and clear AZ title. Happy bidding and good luck!
