2021 FACTORY FIVE RACING MK4 COBRA ROADSTER 5-SPEED

OVERVIEW

This 2021 Factory Five Racing MK4 Roadster styled after the Shelby Cobra is reportedly a $70,000+ build that has logged 8,400 miles since being professionally hand-built by Ron Everitt, who specializes in building FFR Cobras. It is production number 10,000 and powered by a BluePrint Engines-built Ford 427cid high-output Stage 2 V8 backed by a TREMEC TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission. Features include side pipes, power rack-and-pinion steering, a Holley fuel injection system, and Wilwood disc brakes. Finished in Casablanca Pearl White and blue and red stripes over a black leather interior, this Cobra comes from the selling dealer with build documentation and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The fiberglass body as well as the underside of the hood are finished in Casablanca Pearl White and blue and red stripes. Features include chrome nerf bars, wire headlight stone guards, a wire mesh grille, a hood scoop, a driver-side rearview mirror, side exhaust pipes, a chrome windshield frame with wind wings, a chrome driver-side roll hoop, and a flip-up fuel filler.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of bolt-on 17-inch Halibrand wheels with simulated three-spoke knock-off center caps is wrapped in Mickey Thompson Street Comp radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The cabin is furnished with black leather bucket seats surrounded by black door panels and black carpet. Features include power rack-and-pinion steering, a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter, a three-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim, and Simpson harnesses.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 180-mph GPS-driven speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 8,400 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a BluePrint Engines-built Ford 427cid high-output Stage 2 V8 and backed by a TREMEC TKO 600 five-speed manual transmission Engine bay features include Holley fuel injection, Ford Racing 427 Cobra finned aluminum valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, an oval Cobra aluminum air cleaner housing, an MSD electronic ignition system, and a serpentine belt accessory drive system. The selling dealer states that all fluids were changed in 2023. 

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Cobra replica is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Stopping is performed by manual Wilwood discs.
