OVERVIEW
This restored 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible is powered by a rebuilt replacement 350cid V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, an AM/FM stereo, and Wilwood power front disc brakes. Finished in copper and equipped with a power white vinyl convertible top over a copper vinyl interior, this Cutlass comes from the selling dealer with vehicle documentation, an assembly manual, and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The reportedly rust-free body is finished in copper and equipped with a power white vinyl convertible top. Features include chrome bumpers, wheel opening and lower-body trim, color-keyed sport mirror caps with a manual driver-side remote, and white accent pinstripes. A walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of copper and silver 14-inch Super Stock III wheels is wrapped in 245/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with a copper vinyl front bench seat and a matching rear seat surrounded by matching trim and door panels. Features include manual windows, power steering, an AM/FM stereo with rear speakers, woodgrain accents, and a column-mounted automatic transmission shifter.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and a fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. An additional set of gauges for the oil pressure, voltage, and coolant temperature are mounted under the dashboard. The odometer reads 103,545 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a rebuilt replacement 350cid V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include an upgraded camshaft, aluminum heads, chrome Edelbrock valve covers, an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, a chrome Edelbrock air cleaner housing, an electronic ignition system, tube exhaust headers, dual electric fans, and an aluminum radiator.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Cutlass was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by Wilwood drilled and slotted power front discs and rear drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.
