454-POWERED 1986 CHEVROLET C10 SILVERADO

OVERVIEW

This two-wheel-drive 1986 Chevrolet C10 Silverado Fleetside pickup receives power from a 454cid big-block V8 mated to a built four-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear end. It is equipped with chrome trim, a dual exhaust system, American Racing 20-inch wheels, power steering, digital gauges, a Holley Sniper fuel-injection system, an Edelbrock air cleaner, and power front disc brakes. Finished in Midnight Black over a Charcoal cloth and vinyl interior, this custom square-body Silverado is now offered by the selling dealer with spare parts, removed original parts, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The Midnight Black (paint code 19) body features quad stacked headlights, chrome bumpers, bodyside moldings, a sliding rear window, dual fuel tanks, a cargo area lamp, a stainless steel tailgate garnish, and a custom dual exhaust system. The exterior is said to show some patina.

EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES

American Racing chrome 20-inch five-spoke wheels are wrapped in 245/45 front and 275/40 rear Ironman iMove Gen2 tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The Silverado-trimmed cabin is optioned with a Charcoal cloth and vinyl bench seat as well as matching features for the door panels, dash, headliner, and carpeting. Amenities include tinted power windows, cruise control, a ComforTilt steering column, power steering, intermittent windshield wipers, air conditioning, and a custom wooden center console.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Digital instrumentation has replaced the original gauge set and displays a 160-mph speedometer, a 10,000-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The selling dealer reports the mileage to be 29,600 miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown. The CARFAX report does not show any mileage readings.  

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

The 454cid big-block V8 reportedly generates 650 horsepower and features a Holley Sniper EFI system, an Edelbrock chrome-finished air cleaner, chrome valve covers, and an Optima battery. Service was completed within the last year. Output is sent to the rear wheels via a built column-shifted four-speed automatic transmission and a shortened 10-bolt rear end.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Stopping is performed by power disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. The selling dealer notes that there is some corrosion on the undercarriage.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The CARFAX report begins in 2000 and shows accident-free ownership in Michigan since that time. Parts including the removed original gauges and a surround for the new digital instrumentation will be included with the truck.
