OVERVIEW
This 1979 Jeep CJ-7 is powered by a 258cid I6 backed by a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include removable steel doors, a tilt steering column, power steering, power front disc brakes, and a trailer hitch. Finished in black and equipped with a black vinyl bikini top over a gray vinyl interior, this Jeep comes from the selling dealer with an unpainted hardtop and a bill of sale because New Hampshire does not issue titles for vehicles made before the 1999 model year.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The body color was changed to black under previous ownership. Features include a black front bumper with tow bar brackets, black wheel flares, a folding windshield, dual rearview mirrors, removable steel doors, a black vinyl bikini top, and a rear trailer hitch. The selling dealer states that there is one small area of rust on the passenger side behind the front tire, which can be seen in the carousel to the right. Additionally, there is paint peeling in the rear bed and the blue Renegade decals are starting to peel but are still intact.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 15-inch black steel wheels with manual locking front hubs is wrapped in 32” x 11.50” BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. The selling dealer states that the tires are 10 years old and will need to be replaced due to dry rot.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is furnished with gray vinyl bucket seats and matching gray vinyl door panels surrounded by black painted metal trim. Features include manual windows, a tilt steering column, power steering, floor-mounted manual transmission and transfer case shifters, a center console with a storage compartment, and a roll bar.

A 90-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 69,770 miles, which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 258cid I6 and backed by a three-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The selling dealer states that the carburetor has been rebuilt and a new starter and battery were installed in November 2023.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Jeep was factory-equipped with a solid front axle, a solid rear axle, and part-time four-wheel drive. Braking is provided by power front discs and rear drums. The exhaust system exits at the rear.
