OVERVIEW
This 1964 Pontiac GTO coupe received a frame-off rotisserie restoration. It is powered by a 421cid V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Features include Hurst wheels, power steering and brakes, bucket seats, a center console, a factory tachometer, factory air conditioning, and a Tri-Power intake manifold. Finished in red over a black vinyl interior, this GTO comes from the selling dealer with PHS Historic Services documentation and a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
Originally finished in Aquamarine (code P), the reportedly rust-free body was painted red during the frame-off rotisserie restoration. Features include chrome bumpers, wheel opening and rocker trim, side window bright reveal moldings (code B90), polished stainless steel drip rail moldings (code B80), a Hurst nameplate, and rear body trim.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of chrome 14-inch Hurst five-spoke wheels is wrapped in redline radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
Originally equipped with bucket seats upholstered in Dark Aqua vinyl (code 217), the cabin is now furnished with black vinyl bucket seats and a matching rear seat surrounded by black vinyl door panels and trim. Features include manual windows, power steering, factory air conditioning, a four-spoke steering wheel with a wood rim, a center console-mounted manual transmission shifter, and an AM radio.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and a fuel gauge are located ahead of the driver. An additional pair of aftermarket gauges for the water temperature and oil pressure is mounted under the dashboard. A factory vacuum gauge is mounted to the front of the center console. The odometer reads 45,994 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Originally equipped with a 389cid V8 and a two-speed automatic GTO-only transmission, this car is now equipped with a 421cid V8 paired with a Tri-Power intake and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. A safety inspection was recently completed.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This GTO was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits at the rear.

@NIKOLAT – This car is beautiful! I drove my boss's new '64 GTO 4-spd back then with him as passenger on a business trip up to Michigan from Chicago, and the car felt so alive it was unbelievable. Sadly, I am now disabled and can't drive a stick shift well, so I will pass on this auction. My best wishes to all and to the lucky (smart) buyer. NikT ...
Thank you. It is truly a show car that was restored and done right.
